LAST LAST POST: REFLECTION

Hey Flies

So I didn't think that I would have to do one last post for the year but I do so sorry to bother y'all.

This post is going to be fairly lazily written because it's a Friday and I went to sleep at like 2 am last night and took an AP Human Geography test this morning which I'm pretty sure I did poorly. Btw Social Studies/History/Geography is my least favorite out of all class subjects.

This post is about me reflecting on my blog.

This blog was something that I was posted on last minute. To be honest I won't continue this blog after this year is over unless school calls for me to do so again.

Don't get me wrong. I don't hate this blog. It's just something that I had to do for school and now that this assignment is going to be turned in I'm not going to come back unless necessary. I just have more fun things to do than sit at this computer and type away 500 words or so. And the motivation for this to become a hobby just isn't there.

I don't think this blog has really changed me as a person. It was a place where I could share what I wanted because the only person who looks at this is my Honors English teacher Mr. Parker who's really funny and always has a good attitude whether he's having a good morning or not.

This blog went through a few updates during it's life.

The first one was going from me saying what's on my bucket list to me saying what my day was and then it lead to me either watching Hulu or Youtube. This was because the research was tedious and writing 500 words about a place to go is somewhat hard unless you're just randomly spouting facts which nobody wants to read.

The second update was going from the previous^ to me rambling on about whatever I want. I just talked about what I found cool or funny or whatever. This was easier to write 500 words on because I could just make it up as I went along and whatever I thought I had to filter out all the bad stuff and just type it out.

I don't think I'll come back to this blog so this concludes my blogging journey.

Have fun in life. Laugh at everything. Goodbye Flies :)

LAST POST

Hey flies....

So it's getting towards that time of the year where there's finals and AP tests and projects that are all due on the same day of the same week.

This is my final post on this blog probably.

This is kinda awkward.

I guess I''l share a few things that are on my mind. Mostly this is just going to be me ranting about people and how absolutely idiotic we are.

RANT: People think that they alone control their lives.

DEAR GOD PEOPLE YOU ARE NOT IN CONTROL OF YOUR OWN LIFE. And if you think that moving the the wilderness and hunting your own food and providing your own homing and water is being completely in control of your life well wrong again. If you do that you are (depending on your situation back in civilization) even less in control of your life. This is because you are constantly battling the elements. I severely doubt most of you can make a heating system that doesn't involve fire so the cold will be one of the first things to get you in the night. Speaking of things that get you in  the night: predators. Humans may think that we are at the top of the food chain but we are not the only species that mastered the area they live in. There aren't many predators in the area of Utah that I live in because we have hunted the main predator, the mountain lion, near extinction so the only thing that could kill you is the occasional snake or coyote. But in other places around the states there are things like bears which aren't aggressive unless you threaten them but once you do there's really not much you can do. Rangers say play dead but I'm not sure ow that would actually help. Bears would think it peculiar if suddenly the prey they were chasing, moved to the ground and stopped moving mostly.

So when you turds are listening to advice from a friend about something, instead of being cheeky and stubborn maybe listen to them and think about their advice. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SAY "STOP TRYING TO CONTROL MY LIFE". THIS IMPLIES THAT YOU THINK YOU DO HAVE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE. AND ALSO THEY ARE NOT TRYING TO CONTROL YOUR LIFE. THEY ARE TRYING TO HELP YOU IMPROVE YOUR LIFE 90% OF THE TIME.

SHORTER RANT: Tell people what's wrong if something is wrong

People. If someone asks you if something is wrong and you say no we will hope that we can trust you to tell us if there is actually something wrong. We can not read your mind so I don't know why people get mad when someone asks is they are ok and they say its nothing and then your friend who asks you goes back to doing whatever they were doing. They took the time out of their day that they will never get back in order to ask you how you are doing mentally and if there's something you want to talk about. If you say no and there is something not only are you lying to them but you are misusing the kindness that they are giving to you.

I hope those of you who see this will take a step back in life and see if your friends are ok. If they say there's nothing say ok but make it clear that they can trust you and that they can talk with you about things. If they never trusted you then there wouldn't really be a chance of them opening up to you would there.

Goodbye (maybe) Flies. I hope you guys liked this little thing I made...

RANDOMOSITIES THAT I THINK ARE COOL

THING #1: TIME.

I love thinking about time. Time is something that is unchangeable thus far. Time is infinite and the time that we are around is finite. Time works differently in different perspectives. Ever wondered why you can never swat a fly?? That is because for them time is moving faster. By this I mean a few seconds for us humans could be half a minute for them. To flies we are enormous and slow. This is all relativity and this knowledge is comparable to the tallest drop of water turning to ice on an iceberg.

There are theoretical particles called "tachyons". These particles are ones that move faster than light, which as of right now is the confirmed universal speed limit. It is theorized that if we were able to partially control tachyons then we would be able to see the future. The theory is that moving faster than light is the key to traveling through time. Since they move faster than light you would only see two images of it. A premiere of it arriving, and a afterimage of it going away. Learn more about tachyons here.

This is a picture of a tachyon. I don't understand it either so bear with me. Kudos to here for creating this image.
Another bit about relativity is that the closer you are to a black hole, the faster time will be moving relative to everyone else. This theory is shown in the movie "Interstellar" when they have to travel to a planet that orbits a black hole for 1 hour. By the time they get back to the ship, the character who stayed on the ship says about 7 years has passed. Surely this can't be possible right? Wrong. This theory is really haze and I don't quite understand it yet but it has something to do with gravity.

THING #2: GRAVITY

Gravity is a force everyone is familiar with. We all live with it and accept that it's there. We know that planets and stars have gravitational fields and somewhere there's a source and that the farther away you get from the source the less effect gravity will have on you. However nobody knows how it works and how to manipulate it. Don't get me wrong. We know how to explain in great detail how it affects things. But we only have theories about what causes it. One theory is: the more mass you have the more gravity you emit. That's really the only theory that I know of so I'm just going to stop this post here and let you think about time and gravity and if I've inspired you to want to learn something new because it interests you then that's amazing.

Summer!

Hey Flies!

This post is about summer and what mine is going to look like.

Ahhhhh summer. The time when school's out. It's hot outside. And you're inside wrapped in a blanket watching Netflix. So sad..... Don't you want to do something with your summer. Something that could help you in the future. How about get a job?

This summer I'm going to try and get a job. Here are my top picks: and ice cream worker, because everybody wants ice cream when it's hot outside so I'll probably see some friends then; a lifeguard, because then you can get in the tan, and again you'll probably see friends because pools feel extraordinary when it's hot outside; and lastly something to do is bus tables at a nearby restaurant, this would not be the most fun that I've put on he list but it's a good way to build a work ethic and a great experience to have under your belt. To work as an ice cream maker I would work at a place called Cold Stone which is a popular chain creamery. For being a life guard I'd work at either Silver Mountain or the M.A.R.C.
If you guys want to tell me what jobs you're looking to do make a comment. It'f be nice to know that one of you other than my teacher is looking at thus blog😅.

Every summer my family and I go to North Carolina to a place called Ocean Isle where we rent one giant house and stay there at the beach with all of the cousins uncles and aunts from my mother's side of the family. Don't tell my dad this but I like my mom's side of the family way more than my dad's side. Anyway the house we usually stay in is right on a quiet part of the beach which changes quite drastically once my family comes to town. We have tradition that most of us will go out to the nearby putt putt place and do that one night out of the week we stay. This trip has been one of my favorite since I was little.

The other trip that my family and I go on every summer is usually longer than a week. We fly or drive from Utah up to a tiny, little town called Nisswa, Minnesota. It's a few miles away from Brainerd which again you probably haven't heard of. In Nisswa we stay in a lakeside house that been in my family on my dad's side for many generations. The lake it's on is called Lake Pelican. It's a good sized lake. Not super big but also not really small. It's fairly perfect. What we do there is all of the family on my dad's side comes out to it at one point or another during the summer. And by all I mean ALL from my cousins to even my dad's cousins' cousins. It's a blast because we go out on the lake everyday and do things like: tubing, water skiing, and wake boarding. One thing I want to introduce my family to is wake surfing which is like wake boarding in the sense that you have the same relative type of board under your feet but it's much less lower impact on things like your knees and back. And if you fall you're not going 20 mph so it must likely won't hurt.

So that's all I have time for this post. Later Flies!
The house with the squarish pool is one my family and I stay in. I got this picture off of Google Earth
