Today is Friday, January 29, 2016

I again have a basketball game today. That's two in one week. Which is totally fine by me but it means I don't really do much after school that day. Not that I would be dong much anyway. I'd probably just try to hang out with my friends Austin and/or Nic.

So I do the same unchanging morning routine as ever. By that I mean I get up, put on clothes, wake up Bella, eat the eggs my wonderful mother made me, and leave the house. The bus ride is the same; cold and boring.

The first class of my White Day is PE. It again was really fun because my team "LSU" (we had to choose a college basketball team to be our name in the tourney) actually got to play a game. It was a lot of fun because all we did is have me and Johnny and Jack toss the ball to each other and screw around. Azym and Sysilia were fine with being back-ups incase the ball bounced off the rim to one of them. Jack was only taking three point shots and he missed every single one of them. It was ok though because either me, him, or Johnny and occasionally Azym or Sysilia would get the rebound and then get a lay-up or easy shot. The game ended with my team winning 22-2. It was a pretty pitiful game and funny to watch. The main Ref was my friend Drew Parker is hilarious and good at refereeing (relatively).

After that game (they're ten minutes each) my team got to ref again because our next game was yet to be decided. It was yet another game that was pitiful to watch. Half of the people in my PE class aren't exactly what you would call coordinated or quick learners. I don't remember the out come of the game my team refereed but what I do remember is that it was really funny. The rest of the school day was uniform with me just going through the motions of classes and dealing with dumb people. And as usual we lost the game against Tooele but it was actually a good game. Park City was actually winning in the beginning and then at some point we just started slipping up and those slip ups cost us and built up quickly.

I know this seems like a pretty pessimistic view and yah I get it. My life is so incredibly blessed. I live in a place where there is no war and this is part of a Golden Age for mankind. But in reality it's mostly an illusion and blissful ignorance. In American half of us live in this blissful ignorance. In reality there are people losing their limbs, lives, minds, and ways of life just to protect us all. And we actually only know the tip of the iceberg of our country. Everybody has their secrets and countries have an enormous amount that they hide from the . To be honest it's really good that they keep us in the dark about the shady $π!† that happens inside the place we so carelessly live in.

Sorry for the saddening post Flies. I haven't been feeling the greatest mentally lately. Luckily I've gotten good at hiding it from my friends so I don't make them worry about me.
